Dr. Duncan Headshot

Mary Frances Duncan, D.C.

Dr. Mary Frances Duncan is a native of Greer, South Carolina, and a Furman University alum, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After receiving her degree, Dr. Duncan realized her true passion was for serving others in healthcare. Having gone to a chiropractor regularly while growing up, Dr. Duncan made the decision to spend her life helping patients lead healthier lives using a forward-thinking approach, just as her chiropractor had done for her. After her undergraduate studies at Furman, Dr. Duncan attended the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida, where she obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.

Wesley A. Robbins, D.C.

Dr. Wesley Robbins, a native of New Albany, Mississippi, attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford and, after completing his undergraduate studies, attended Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri where he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Having received regular chiropractic care throughout his teens and early adulthood, Dr. Robbins recognized his passion for the chiropractic profession and, after shadowing multiple licensed chiropractors throughout his undergraduate degree, decided to attend chiropractic school at Logan University. Dr. Robbins was amazed after witnessing the positive patient outcomes and intentional relationships that developed within his new-found profession.

What Our Patients Say

Simply Southern Chiropractic Center is great! The doctors and staff are so personable and professional. I’m welcomed by name each visit. The treatments have all been focused on addressing my initial complaint areas and the adjustments have been super beneficial in getting my movement back. I leave feeling 100% better each visit!
–Brianna H.
We’ve had the best experience at the Simply Southern office in Greer – Dr. Wright has been wonderful every time we’ve seen her, but we usually see Dr. Robbins and we love him! The entire office treats my very young kids (which a lot of offices don’t even allow) like their own and know them by name. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Robbins, the staff, or Simply Southern!
–Sarah R.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question mark icon

What should I expect during my first visit to a chiropractor in Greer, SC?

Your first visit will begin with a comprehensive evaluation intended to identify the underlying source of your discomfort. This typically includes a review of your health history, a physical and orthopedic examination, and an assessment of posture and spinal mobility. Based on these findings, we will develop an individualized treatment plan. The initial appointment is primarily diagnostic, establishing a clear baseline before any course of care begins.

Question mark icon

Is a chiropractor or a physical therapist better for treating sciatica?

The answer to this question depends on the underlying cause and the individual patient. Physical therapy generally emphasizes therapeutic exercise, strengthening, and functional movement retraining, whereas chiropractic care focuses on restoring spinal alignment and joint mobility through manual adjustment and related modalities. Many cases respond well to a combination of both approaches, and some patients benefit from beginning with one before transitioning to the other.

Question mark icon

Is it safe to receive chiropractic care during pregnancy?

Chiropractic care is widely regarded as safe during pregnancy when performed by a practitioner trained in prenatal techniques, though expectant patients should consult their obstetrician before beginning any new treatment. Methods such as the Webster technique are specifically adapted to accommodate the physiological changes of pregnancy and are commonly used to address lower back and pelvic discomfort. We will also modify positioning and adjustment techniques throughout each trimester to prioritize maternal and fetal comfort.

Question mark icon

How much does a chiropractic adjustment cost, and does Simply Southern Chiropractic Center accept insurance?

The cost of a chiropractic adjustment varies according to the specific services rendered and the terms of a patient’s insurance coverage. Simply Southern accepts many major insurance plans and verifies each patient’s benefits prior to treatment, so anticipated costs are clear in advance. For patients without applicable coverage, we offer self-pay rates and flexible payment arrangements. Contacting the office directly is the most reliable way to obtain an accurate estimate for your particular circumstances.

Question mark icon

Can I book a same-day chiropractic appointment in Greer, SC, as a new patient?

Our Greer office is often able to accommodate same-day appointments. However, the first visit for all new patients involves a thorough health assessment and establishment of a treatment plan—no treatment is administered. Same-day scheduling is most readily arranged by contacting the office by phone early in the day. Appointments may also be requested through the practice’s online scheduling tool.

Question mark icon

What makes Simply Southern Chiropractic Center different from high-volume chain chiropractic clinics?

Simply Southern distinguishes itself through individualized, unhurried treatment rather than the high-volume model common among so many practices. Each patient is paired with a consistent treating chiropractor across visits, supporting continuity of care and a more thorough understanding of individual progress. The practice integrates advanced therapeutic modalities, including Class IV laser therapy and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, alongside traditional manual adjustment. This approach emphasizes addressing the structural sources of chronic discomfort over the course of a defined treatment plan rather than providing isolated, short-term relief.
